A Summer Vacation!

This is more like a poem though. SO if it doesn't make sense, I understand because I'm not good @ poetry.

Anyways~ getting on with the story...

Summer

The hot sun shines ever so brightly
As the ground bakes in the summer heat.
Not even a single drop of rain falls to meet the earth

But the splash splash splash of kids in the swimming pool
is the only sound heard.
Yet even with the ice cold water, the summer heat,
Seems eternal.

A gentle breeze blows slowly through the trees
And most of the plants are in bloom.
I guess that's one good thing about summer.
You can always count of some small thing to make a difference

Even if it isn't eternal.

A Summer Vacation

A summer vacation is very nice.
It's the smell of freshly made ice cream
With the feel of the heat from the sun.
Summer sounds like the buzzing of insects
And the sight of the sun.

That's what's a summer vacation is all about!
